Isaiah chapter 61, vs 1 - 4                 God as the Messiah speaking of Himself

… vs 1 … the Spirit of the LORD ( YHVH ) God is upon Me … because the LORD ( YHVH ) has anointed Me … He has sent Me to bring good news to the oppressed … to bind up the broken hearted … to proclaim liberty to the captives … and … to set those who are prisoners free …

... vs 2 … to proclaim … the Year of the LORD ( YHVH )’s Favor … God’s Day of Vengeance for evil/sin … to comfort all who mourn …

… vs 3 … to provide for everyone who mourns in Zion … to give to them a garland of joy instead of the ashes of sorrow … to give to them the  oil of gladness instead of mourning … to give to them the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit … for … they will be called the oaks of Righteousness … they are the planting of the LORD ( YHVH ) … to display His glory …

… vs 4 … they will rebuild the ancient ruins … and … raise up the former devastations … they will repair the ruined cities which have been in ruin for many generations … 

61:1 רוח אדני יהוה עלי יען משח יהוה אתי לבשר ענוים שלחני לחבש לנשברי-לב לקרא לשבוים דרור ולאסורים פקח-קוח

61:2 לקרא שנת-רצון ליהוה ויום נקם לאלהינו לנחם כל-אבלים

61:3 לשום לאבלי ציון לתת להם פאר תחת אפר שמן ששון תחת אבל מעטה תהלה תחת רוח כהה וקרא להם אילי הצדק מטע יהוה להתפאר

61:4 ובנו חרבות עולם שממות ראשנים יקוממו וחדשו ערי חרב שממות דור ודור
