Isaiah chapter 2, vs 2 - 4
… vs 2 … in the days to come … the mountain of the LORD ( YHVH )’s house will be established as the highest of the mountains … that house will be raised above the hills … and … all the nations will stream to it …
… vs 3 … many people will come and say come let us go up to the mountain of the LORD ( YHVH ) … to the house of the God of Jacob … so that … He will teach us His ways and we will walk in His path … for … out of Zion will go forth instruction and the Word of the LORD ( YHVH ) will go forth from Jerusalem…
… vs 4 … He will judge between the nations and will arbitrate for many peoples … and … they will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning-hooks … nation will not lift up sword against nation nor will they learn war any more …
… in vs 2 … the English phrase … in the days to come … is also translated in other English versions of the Holy Bible … in the last days … the reference is to two Hebrew nouns in this verse … the first is a variant of … YOM … הימים … Strong# Hebrew 3117 … most often spelled in Hebrew as … יוֹם … the literal meaning is … day … the second noun is … ACHARITH … באחרית … Strong# Hebrew 319 … the best literal meanings include … the after part … or … end … or … last … or … latter … in our analysis the prefix BET adds the emphasis … in or during the latter days … the root of ACHARITH is Hebrew verb … ACHAR … Strong# Hebrew 309 … the best literal meanings include … to remain behind … or … to tarry … so … essentially the reference is to the End Time … specifically to the Millenium …
