Matthew chapter 9, vs 18 - 25

… vs18 … the synagogue leader Jairus came to Jesus knelt before him and said … my daughter is about to die come and put your hand on her so she will live …  

וַיְהִי הוּא מְדַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְהִנֵּה אַחַד הַשָּׂרִים בָּא וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ־לוֹ וַיּאמַר עַתָּה זֶה מֵתָה בִתִּי בֹּא־נָא וְשִׂים אֶת־יָדְךָ עָלֶיהָ וְתִחְיֶה

… vs 19 … Jesus got up and went with Jairus … and … so did his disciples … vs 20 … just then … a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of His cloak … vs 21 … she thought … if I only touch His cloak I will be healed … vs 22 … Jesus turned and saw her and said … take heart daughter your faith has healed you … and … the woman was healed at that moment …

… vs 23 … when Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house He saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes of mourning … 

וַיָּבֹא יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל־בֵּית הַשָּׂר וַיַּרְא אֶת הַמְחַלֲלִים בַּחֲלִילִים וְאֶת־הָעָם הַהוֹמֶה וַיּאמַר

… vs 24 … Jesus said to the noisy crowd … go away the girl is not dead but asleep … and … they laughed at Him …

… vs 25 … after the noisy crowd had been put outside … Jesus went in … took the girl by the hand … and … she got up …

וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר הוֹצִיאוּ אֶת־הָעָם מִשָׁם וַיָּבֹא הַבַּיְתָה וַיּאחֶז בְּיָדָהּ וַתָּקָם הַנַּעֲרָה
