Luke chapter 7, vs 11 - 17

…  vs  11 … afterward Jesus went to a town called Nain with His disciples and a large crowd went along with Him …

… vs 12 … as Jesus approached the town gate a dead man was being carried out of the town … the only son of his mother and she was a widow … there was a large crowd from the town with her …

… vs 13 … Jesus saw her and His heart went out to her so He said to her … don’t cry …

… v 14 … then Jesus went up and touched the bier on which they were carrying her dead son … the bearers stood still … Jesus  said … young man I say to you get up …

… vs 15 … the dead man sat up and began to talk … then … Jesus gave him back to his mother …

… vs 16 … the people present were all filled with awe and praised God saying … a great prophet has appeared among us and God has come to help His people …

וּרְעָדָה אָחֲזָה כֻלָּם וַיְשַׁבְּחוּ אֶת־הָאֱלהִים וַיּאמְרוּ נָבִיא גָדוֹל קָם בְּקִרְבֵּנוּ וְהָאֱלהִים פָּקַד אֶת־עַמּוֹ
