Exodus chapter 14, vs 13 - 31    … vs 13 … Moses said to the people … do not be afraid stand firm and you will see the deliverance that the LORD ( YHVH ) will bring for us today … the Egyptians that we see today we will never see again … vs 14 … the LORD ( YHVH ) will fight for us … we need only to be still … vs 15 … then the LORD ( YHVH ) said to Moses … why are you crying out to me … tell the people of Israel to move forward ... Vs 16 … raise your staff … stretch out your hand over the sea and divide the water so that the people of Israel will be able to go through the sea on dry ground … vs 17 … I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them and I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army through his chariots and his horsemen … vs 18 … then … the Egyptians will know that … I AM … the LORD ( YHVH ) when I gain glory through Pharaoh his chariots and his horsemen … vs 19 … then the angel of God who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army withdrew and went behind them … the pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them … vs 20 … thus coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel … throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side so neither went near the other all night long … vs 21 … then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and all that night the LORD ( YHVH ) drove the sea back with a strong east wind turning it into dry land and the waters were divided … vs 22 …then the people of Israel crossed through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water on their right and on their left … vs 23 …  then Egyptians decided to pursue them and all Pharaoh’s horses chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea … vs 24 … during the last watch of the night the LORD ( YHVH ) looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army … He  threw the Egyptians and their horses into confusion … vs 25 … He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving … and the Egyptians said … let us get away from the Israelites for the LORD ( YHVH ) is fighting for them against Egypt … vs 26 … then the LORD ( YHVH ) said to Moses … stretch out your hand over the sea and the waters will flow back over the Egyptians their chariots and horsemen … vs 27 … and so … Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward[c] it, and the Lord swept them into the sea … vs 28 … the water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen … the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the people of Israel into the sea and not one of them survived … vs 29 … so … the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground with a wall of water on their right and on their left … vs 30 … that day the LORD ( YHVH ) saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore … vs 31 … and when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the LORD ( YHVH ) displayed against the Egyptians the people had reverence for the LORD ( YHVH ) and they put their trust in Him and in Moses His servant … 

14:13 ויאמר משה אל-העם אל-תיראו התיצבו וראו את-ישועת יהוה אשר-יעשה לכם היום כי אשר ראיתם את-מצרים היום לא תספו לראתם עוד עד-עולם

14:14 יהוה ילחם לכם ואתם תחרשון

14:15 ויאמר יהוה אל-משה מה-תצעק אלי דבר אל-בני-ישראל ויסעו

14:16 ואתה הרם את-מטך ונטה את-ידך על-הים ובקעהו ויבאו בני-ישראל בתוך הים ביבשה

14:17 ואני הנני מחזק את-לב מצרים ויבאו אחריהם ואכבדה בפרעה ובכל-חילו ברכבו ובפרשיו

14:18 וידעו מצרים כי-אני יהוה בהכבדי בפרעה ברכבו ובפרשיו

14:19 ויסע מלאך האלהים ההלך לפני מחנה ישראל וילך מאחריהם ויסע עמוד הענן מפניהם ויעמד מאחריהם

14:20 ויבא בין מחנה מצרים ובין מחנה ישראל ויהי הענן והחשך ויאר את-הלילה ולא-קרב זה אל-זה כל-הלילה

14:21 ויט משה את-ידו על-הים ויולך יהוה את-הים ברוח קדים עזה כל-הלילה וישם את-הים לחרבה ויבקעו המים

14:22 ויבאו בני-ישראל בתוך הים ביבשה והמים להם חומה מימינם ומשמאלם

14:23 וירדפו מצרים ויבאו אחריהם כל סוס פרעה רכבו ופרשיו אל-תוך הים

14:24 ויהי באשמרת הבקר וישקף יהוה אל-מחנה מצרים בעמוד אש וענן ויהם את מחנה מצרים

14:25 ויסר את אפן מרכבתיו וינהגהו בכבדת ויאמר מצרים אנוסה מפני ישראל כי יהוה נלחם להם במצרים

14:26 ויאמר יהוה אל-משה נטה את-ידך על-הים וישבו המים על-מצרים על-רכבו ועל-פרשיו

14:27 ויט משה את-ידו על-הים וישב הים לפנות בקר לאיתנו ומצרים נסים לקראתו וינער יהוה את-מצרים בתוך הים

14:28 וישבו המים ויכסו את-הרכב ואת-הפרשים לכל חיל פרעה הבאים אחריהם בים לא-נשאר בהם עד-אחד

14:29 ובני ישראל הלכו ביבשה בתוך הים והמים להם חמה מימינם ומשמאלם

14:30 ויושע יהוה ביום ההוא את-ישראל מיד מצרים וירא ישראל את-מצרים מת על-שפת הים

14:31 וירא ישראל את-היד הגדלה אשר עשה יהוה במצרים וייראו העם את-יהוה ויאמינו ביהוה ובמשה עבדו
