Acts chapter 9, vs 36 - 43

… vs 36 … in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha … in Greek her name is Dorcas  … she was always doing good and helping the poor … vs 37 … she became sick and died … so … her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room … vs 38 … Peter was staying at Lydda which is near Joppa … so when the disciples were told that Peter was in Lydda they sent two men to him and urged him … please come at once … vs 39 … Peter went with the two men and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room that held the body of Tabitha … the widows stood with Peter crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Tabitha had made for the poor while she was still with them … 

… vs 40 … Peter sent everyone out of the room and got down on his knees and prayed … then …. turning toward the dead woman Peter said … Tabitha get up … Tabitha opened her eyes and seeing Peter she sat up …

וַיּוֹצֵא פֶטְרוֹס אֶת־כֻּלָּם הַחוּצָה וַיִּכְרַע עַל־בִּרְכָּיו וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל וַיִּפֶן אֶל־גְּוִיָּתָה וַיּאמֶר טָבִיתָא קוּמִי וַתִּפְתַּח אֶת־עֵינֶיהָ וַתֵּרֶא אֶת־פֶטְרוֹס וַתִּתְעוֹדָד

… vs 41 … then … Peter took Tabitha by the hand and helped her to her feet … he called for the widows and other believers … and … Peter presented Tabitha to them alive … 

וַיִּשְׁלַח יָדוֹ וַיָּקֶם אתָהּ וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־הַקְּדוֹשִׁים וְאֶת־הָאַלְמָנוֹת וַיַּעֲמֵד אתָהּ חַיָּה לִפְנֵיהֶם

… vs 42 … this became known all over Joppa and many people believed in the Lord … vs 43 … after this Peter stayed in Joppa for some time with a tanner named Simon …
