Isaiah chapter 6, vs 8 - 12 God speaking

… go and say to this people … keep listening but do not comprehend … keep looking but do not understand … make the mind of this people dull … stop their ears and shut their eyes … so … they will not … look with their eyes … listen with their ears … comprehend with their minds … and … so … turn and be healed … 

Jeremiah chapter 6, vs 10

… to whom can I speak and give warning so that they will hear … for … their ears are closed and they will not listen … the Word of the LORD ( YHVH ) is an object of scorn to them and they take no pleasure in it …
