… I urge you … in the presence of God … in the presence of Jesus Christ … Who is the judge of the living and the dead … in anticipation of His appearing and His kingdom … be persistent in your faith … whether the time is favorable or unfavorable … be persistent with utmost patience … convince … rebuke … encourage … and … teach … others as you can … for a time is coming when people will not accept the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ … but … rather … having itching ears … they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suite their own desires … they will turn away from listening to the truth … and … they will wander away into myths … so … again … I urge you … be sober regarding these times … endure suffering … do the work Jesus Christ has requested of us fully …
