… LORD … You bless me … in keeping Your Word I keep to the way You have set before me … with all my heart I seek you … thank you for helping me avoid paths that wander to ways that are not Your teaching … I treasure Your Word in my heart and this helps to keep me from sin … blessed are You O LORD … teach me … I rejoice in Your Word … I meditate on Your teaching with focused delight … I will not forget Your Word …

… LORD open my eyes so I can understand the wonders that are found in Your teaching … thank you for the time you spend with me … I now live to keep Your Word … I am a stranger on the earth for I long for Your teaching at all times … let nothing hide Your teaching from me … as I follow Your teaching I will escape the reproach and contempt of those who are arrogant and self-cursed … those who have wandered from Your teaching … those who sit and talk against me … and so … I meditate on your teaching … it is my delight … Your teaching is my counselor …

… revive me O LORD according to Your Word for my soul clings to the dust … I tell You the ways which I have taken and You answer me … by Your teaching I understand the way toward which Your lead me … my soul weeps with grief for my previous ways as I now meditate on the wonders of Your teaching … Your Word which You give to me through Your teaching strengthens me … Your teaching enables me to leave my previous ways which are deceptively false … You are gracious and faithful … I have chosen the way which You have placed before me … thank you …

… LORD thank you for teaching me Your way … I will follow Your way to the end … I seek the understanding to keep Your teaching within my heart … I walk with delight in the way of Your teaching … turn my heart and eyes away from vanity and dishonest gain to your teaching … Your Word revives me … Your way supports and enables reverence for You within me … I long for Your teaching … You revive me … Your righteousness has taken away the reproach of my sin …

119:41 ויבאני חסדך יהוה תשועתך כאמרתך

119:42 ואענה חרפי דבר כי-בטחתי בדברך

119:43 ואל-תצל מפי דבר-אמת עד-מאד כי למשפטך יחלתי

119:45 ואתהלכה ברחבה כי פקדיך דרשתי

119:46 ואדברה בעדתיך נגד מלכים ולא אבוש

119:47 ואשתעשע במצותיך אשר אהבתי

… LORD … Your Word brings a knowledge of Your lovingkindness and salvation to me … I trust in Your Word … and so … I will answer those who have reproach for me … for … I walk in the liberty that Your Word and Truth that You have given to me … I seek Your teaching and will speak this testimony before anyone and not be ashamed … I love and delight in Your teaching … on which I will meditate forever …

119:49 זכר-דבר לעבדך על אשר יחלתני

119:50 זאת נחמתי בעניי כי אמרתך חיתני

119:51 זדים הליצני עד-מאד מתורתך לא נטיתי

119:53 זלעפה אחזתני מרשעים עזבי תורתך

119:54 זמרות היו-לי חקיך בבית מגורי

119:55 זכרתי בלילה שמך יהוה ואשמרה תורתך

119:56 זאת היתה-לי כי פקדיך נצרתי

… my hope is in Your Word … it is comfort in my affliction … Your Word has revived me … though the arrogant utterly deride me … I will not turn aside from Your teaching … I remember Your teaching and this is a comfort to myself … indignation rises within me for the wicked forsake Your teaching … but … I turn and Your teaching becomes my song … I remember Your Name … and so … I follow Your way …

… LORD … I seek your favor with all my heart … You are my portion … You are gracious according to Your Word … I hasten to follow Your teaching … and … though the cords of the wicked encircle me … I will not forget Your teaching … I will live with those who have reverence for You … the earth is filled with Your lovingkindness … thank you …

119:69 טפלו עלי שקר זדים אני בכל-לב אצר פקודיך

119:70 טפש כחלב לבם אני תורתך שעשעתי

119:71 טוב-לי כי-עניתי למען אלמד חקיך

… LORD … You have dealt with me according to Your Word … You have taught me discernment and knowledge … at a previous time I had gone astray but now I keep Your Word … I believe in Your teaching … at the same time the arrogant forge lies with hearts that are covered with fat … I with all my heart follow your teaching  … Your teaching is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces …

119:74 יראיך יראוני וישמחו כי לדברך יחלתי

119:75 ידעתי יהוה כי-צדק משפטיך ואמונה עניתני

119:77 יבאוני רחמיך ואחיה כי-תורתך שעשעי

119:78 יבשו זדים כי-שקר עותוני אני אשיח בפקודיך

119:79 ישובו לי יראיך וידעו עדתיך

119:80 יהי-לבי תמים בחקיך למען לא אבוש

… LORD … Your hands made and fashioned me … everyone with reverence for You will see me and be glad … I wait on Your Word … give me the understanding of Your teaching … when I am afflicted You are with me in all faithfulness … Your judgments are righteous … Your lovingkindness comforts me … Your compassion enables me to live according to Your Word … Your teaching is my delight …  the arrogant will be ashamed for they are deceived by a lie … may I not be ashamed … I meditate on Your teaching … everyone who has reverence for You will turn and come to know Your teaching … our hearts are made blameless by Your teaching …

… I wait on Your Word … my soul celebrates Your salvation … my eyes look forward to Your Word which comforts me … however many my days may be … as I become like a wineskin in the smoke … I will not forget Your teaching … please judge the arrogant who do not follow Your teaching and persecute me … they dig pitfalls in my path … but … Your teaching is faithful … and so … I will not forsake Your teaching …  they almost destroyed me with their lie … but … You have helped me … Your lovingkindness is my strength and my support … Your teaching sustains me …

LORD … Your Word established both the heavens and the earth … they continually exist by Your will forever … Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations … Your teaching is my delight … I will not forget Your teaching for you have revived me from afflictions in which I would have perished … You saved me and I am Yours … as the wicked wait to destroy me … I consider Your teaching … for … while there is a limit to all human activity … Your teaching is exceedingly broad and extends forever …

… I meditate on Your teaching all day long … I love Your teaching for it makes me wiser than those who oppose me … I have more insight than my teachers … I study Your teaching so that I can keep Your Word … it helps me restrain my feet from following an evil way … my meditation helps me to understand as the aged understand … for … from Your teaching I get understanding … I learn to avoid the false ways … how sweet is Your Word to me … for … You Yourself teach me … I will not turn aside from Your teaching …
